Fundraising
Some years ago a vision was revealed that instructed our congregation to move to a bigger space in preparation for the expansion of God’s Kingdom in our community. In obedience to the words of God, a new sanctuary was built. In recent months, the sanctuary’s mortgage payment has become a threat to the vision behind its construction. We are firm believers in the word of God that says, “Upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” (Matthew 16:18 KJV). This has been our consolation in recent months; we strongly believe that he will see us through this difficult time as we know that he sent us the vision for the new sanctuary. However, “faith without works is dead.” (James 2:20 KJV). We decided to act on the word of God by reaching out to you and, in humility, seeking your financial assistance towards the payment of the sanctuary’s mortgage.
The cost of the sanctuary’s construction was $1.5 million. With the support and dedication of the few congregants, $1 million has been paid thus far. We are fundraising now in order to pay off the remaining $500,000. We believe this is not too big for our God to accomplish. As you are reading this today, we pray you are one of the people chosen by God to help us keep the doors of our sanctuary open for the children of God in the community we serve. Our prayer for you as you honor God in your giving is you will be blessed abundantly! “The generous will themselves be blessed, for they share their food with the poor.” (Proverbs 22:9 NIV).
We will appreciate your financial support to keep the church door open for the children of God that worship in this sanctuary. Remember our “God loves a cheerful giver” Thanks for your support.
Tithe/Giving
Giving is an act of righteousness (Proverbs 21:26) in expectation of heavenly blessings as He has promised in regards to giving. “Every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of the LORD your God which He has given you,” (Deuteronomy 16:17) and “do so without a grudging heart”(Deuteronomy 15:10). The generous man will be prosperous, And he who waters will himself be watered (Proverbs 11:25). Remember our “God loves a cheerful giver” As you generously and cheerfully obey His commandment and give towards God’s work here on earth you are “laying for yourself treasures in heaven where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal” (Matthew 6:19-21). May God bless you.
