Evangelistic Ministry, Houston Texas was founded by Apostle Dr. T.O. Obadare, the world renowned Evangelist from Nigeria.
Apostle (Dr) T.O. Obadare, had a burning desire for souls. In 1984, Apostle Dr. T.O Obadare and his council members arrived in Houston for a five day phenomenal revival. Within the five day revival CAC Houston was born. The first service took place in an Apartment located on Fondren. From the onset, the first set of adherent continued in faith despite the obstacles of complaints that attended the church from the neighbors.
Due however to these increasing complaints, the growing congregation relocated to another Apartment complex, this time holding service in a clubhouse on Hillcroft.
As God will have it during the leadership of Pastor Ayepola, the people of God continue to strive and finally moved to a better facility rented on Hiram Clark. Under the guidance and leadership of Pastor Ogunwuyi, a man of prayer and faith, the increasing congregation moved to a property on 7031 West Fuqua, Missouri City, Texas . “Wait I say on the Lord and He will guide your path.”
Indeed, God was in full control of our path. Six years later CAC Houston, was blessed with Pastor Layi Oshin and his wife. Pastor Layi Oshin is a man of great foresight and Faith, saddled with the assignment of leading this fledging congregation. Under his leadership the Lord built a NEW sanctuary for HIS church at 11601 Ormandy Street, Houston Texas 77035.
CAC-Houston is a place where the move of faith is evident to all. We daily experience God’s favor as we walk this path of Faith. The Lord un-seizing miracles continually proves to us hat He still reigns supreme. With faith, many that came to His house has tasted His power of miracle and their live has never been the same again. “But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he that cometh to him must believe that he is and is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him (Heb. 11:6).”
Our Church is a place of fellowship that places emphasis on sharing and showing the love and compassion of Christ to the world. We devote time to the study of God’s word and Prayer. Accept Jesus as Your Lord And Savior Today
If you have not accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, please do so today because tomorrow might be too late. Remember, “all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus” (Roman 3:23-24). Regardless of whom you are or what your past and present are, If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved (Roman 10:9-10).
If you will like to give your life to Jesus Christ, pray this prayer, “Lord I am a sinner, please have mercy on me today, forgive all my sins, I confess you as my Lord and Savior today and I have decided to follow you for the rest of my life, O lord give me a renew spirit and uphold me with your right hand, I thank you for accepting as I am today, in Jesus name, Amen.
